PHILADELPHIA -

Local businesses along South Street and in Queen Village are donating portions of their sales Wednesday to help the victims of the 4th Street fire earlier this month.

The fire sparked Saturday, April 6 on the 700 block of South 4th Street. Philadelphia Fire Department Captain Michael Goodwin was killed fighting the fire.

The event was organized by the Queen Village Neighbors Association.

Organizers say the fundraiser will also benefit the family of Goodwin.
