Police: Man pulls knife, attempts robbery inside Ferndale gas station

FERNDALE, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police released photos Friday of a suspect who they say pulled a knife on a man inside a gas station.

Ferndale police say the suspect with light brown hair, a beard and mustache, attempted to rob a man at the Mobil station on Woodward and Ardmore St. around 1:15 a.m. Friday.

The victim was able to escape without injury. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

The incident was captured on surveillance video.

Anyone who can help identify the suspect is asked to call 248-541-3650.
