It's spring and that means it time to plant. But which flowers should you plant? Pike Nurseries Assistant Manager Melodie McDanal has some new plants that are available this spring!

Edibles

Jelly Bean Blueberry --  They are a very sweet berry and tastes like jelly. It's a dwarf blueberry that is only two feet by two feet.

Peach Sorbet Blueberry -- Wonderful berries, but it actually gets its name for its foliage color in fall. It's a dwarf blueberry that can be grown in the garden or even in a pot
    
Raspberry Shortcake Raspberry -- Dwarf raspberry that doesn't need a large fence or trellis like most raspberries

Thornless
    
Mighty 'Matoes -- This is the second year the Mighty Mato has been available and its popularity is growing. It's a grafted tomato so you get a great tomato that is stronger and produces more tomatoes.

Annual Color

Calliope Geraniums – This geranium is guaranteed to bloom all summer long. You should plant in full sun in landscape and container gardens. New colors this year are hot pink and lavender rose.

Lemon Slice Calibrachoa – This trumpet shaped flower have yellow and white stripes

Petchoa – This flower is a cross between a petunia and a calibrachoa, and is very tolerant of sun and disease.

Under the Sea Coleus – These provide great foliage, texture and color.
