PHILADELPHIA -

A Philadelphia woman's quick thinking might just help lead to the capture of the man she found rummaging through her belongings.

The 49-year-old victim entered her home on the 1300 block of West Silver Street at 9:47 a.m. back on March 30 and found the guy going through her property, police said in a news release Friday. It's not known how he got inside.

Using her cell phone, the woman was able to snap a photo of the apparently very surprised suspect before he ran away.

Police described the suspect as being black, 20- to 30-years-old, between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a gray T-shirt over a black shirt, camouflage pants , black sneakers and a rust-colored jacket.

The police department's East Detective Division is investigating this case. If you see the suspect, police say don't approach him; call 9-1-1 immediately.
