(FOX 11) Madonna was back in Malawi where she's been funding schools, but this trip didn't go so well -- starting with her overly casual, misspelled and wrongly punctuated letter to President Joyce Banda.
"Dear Joyce" it starts out (kinda like starting off 'Dear Barry' to President Obama). "First and foremost let me congratulate you on your position in Malawi! What an honor and what a huge responsability (misspelled). I have always admired your strength and courage and have very fond memories of when we met and spoke and we interviewed you for documentary as you know I am in Malawi for the week (find the punctuation, we dare you!).
The handwritten note was seen as a bit of a snub to the president.
If there's bad blood it might have started with madonna firing the president's sister who ran her "Raising Malawi" school charity. Madonna accused the entire staff of misappropriating money.
