Firefighters fighting a house fire in Philadelphia Thursday afternoon found dozens of cats inside.
The fire sparked inside of a home on the 800 block of Medway Road in the Bustleton neighborhood of the city around 3 p.m.
Firefighters say they found more than 20 cats inside. Some of the cats were injured from the fire.
The cats were taken to the Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in Levittown for treatment.
It's not clear what started the fire.
Waking up to dense fog today. Poor visibility slowing us down.
But at least it's mild. Temps are about 15-degrees above average today, despite the continued clouds & drizzle. High in the lower 60s.
Our next cold front comes through tomorrow, with rain, especially on Friday afternoon. With the blast of cold air that follows, we'll probably have a dry day on Saturday, and the chance of a Sunday wintry mix into the afternoon and evening. Stay tuned!
