PHOENIX -

A 43-year-old motorcyclist died after colliding with a car near 17th Avenue and Pecos Road on Tuesday night.

Phoenix Police Sgt. Tommy Thompson says a 61-year-old woman driving an Audi VST rolled through a stop sign and hit Kirk D. Jarvis, who was driving a Suzuki motorcycle.

Jarvis was taken to a hospital where he later died.

The woman was not injured.

Thompson says there are no indications either driver was impaired.

No arrests have been made, but Thompson says the investigation is on-going.
