On Sunday three teens were injured in a wreck on SH 71 on Bastrop when one of the cars crossed over into oncoming traffic.
According to police, at approximately 1:30 Sunday afternoon the driver of a Chevrolet carryall traveling eastbound lost control of his vehicle and crossed over into oncoming traffic. The Chevrolet collided with a pickup truck traveling west.
Two teens in the Chevrolet, ages 16 and 13, were transported to UMC Brackenridge Hospital. They are listed as being in stable condition.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 17-year-old male, was transported via STARFlight and is in critical condition.
