Police: Man Steals $1,600 In Used Tires And Tools

PHILADELPHIA -

Police say a burglar took off with $1,600 in used tires and tools from a North Philadelphia auto shop on Friday. Investigators are now searching for the man involved.

Police say a man was caught on a surveillance camera at the Hunting Park Tire Shop, located on the 400 block of East Hunting Park Avenue in Feltonville. The video shows the man throw used tires and jacks from the yard area over a fence, before climbing over it himself and fleeing the scene.

Police describe the suspect as a white or Hispanic man who is 20 to 30-years-old. He was wearing a dark-colored jump suit over a hooded sweatshirt.
