House Fire Displaces 4 In Philly

PHILADELPHIA -

Four people were given housing by the American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania Sunday after a fire ripped through their home shortly after midnight.

Flames were first reported around 12:05 a.m. in a home on the 6000 block of Pine Street.

Firefighters say no one was injured and the fire was placed under control around 12:30 a.m.

The local Red Cross says the four victims of the fire were given housing, financial assistance for clothes and shoes and will also receive meals at the Red Cross House.

The Red Cross says it is also working to help the family's pets.
