PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Pa. -

The family of fallen Plymouth Township police officer Brad Fox welcomed a baby boy earlier this week.

The baby, Brad Jr., was born Monday and weighed in at 7 pounds 11 ounces.

The family says Brad Jr. and his mom, Lynsay, are resting comfortably.

Officer Fox, a seven-year Plymouth Township police veteran, was killed in September after a hit-and-run crash. The officer's K9 partner, "Nick," was wounded but survived.

Fox served two tours in Iraq before becoming a police officer.
