FOX 29 Gets Results: Heat Restored For Residents Of Apartment Complex

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

The heat is back on for the residents of an apartment building in West Oak Lane after three cold weeks.

FOX 29 first told you about the heat at the Bentley Manor Apartments last week.

Some families told us the temperature got so cold they had to pack up and stay with loved ones.

The heating issue was apparently the result of a broken boiler.

FOX 29 went out to the complex three times to check on the situation.

On Sunday, residents told us the heat was back on and things were slowly getting back to normal.

Earlier, a representative for the apartment complex told FOX 29 it was expected to take a couple of hours for the entire building to warm up.

    NICE EASTER WEEKEND

The first half of the holiday weekend has been great and Easter Sunday looks just as nice. Clouds thin out late tonight with temperatures falling back to the 40s.

Initially it'll be jacket weather early Sunday morning but plenty of sunshine will warm us into the 60s by afternoon.  High temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday.

It will be noticeably cooler and breezy at the shore with highs in the low 50s.  Quiet conditions continue into Monday.
