A man has been charged after police say he slapped a young boy's face with such force that he left bruises on the child's face.
On October 12, police say a 5-year-old boy, who is bound to a wheelchair, arrived to school with bruises on his face that appeared to be in the pattern of hand marks.
During an interview with police, Francisco Javiver Padillo admitted to slapping the boy's face.
Padillo has been charged with injury to a child, a third degree felony.
