Funnymen Jim Carrey and Steve Carell premiered The Incredible Burt Wonderstone at the Paramount Theater to kick of South by Southwest. They also brought co-star Olivia Wilde with them.
The movie is about a magician rivalry with Carell playing a Vegas magician and Jim Carrey playing a street magician.
"It's funny! It's a story of redemption. It's a story of love and friendship and magic!" Carell said.
Olive Wilde plays Wonderstone's assistant. FOX 7 asked her what it is like to do a funny movie with the often intimidating James Gandolfini.
"He's fantastic. He's such a sweetheart! He's just a teddy bear you know. I'm sure he wouldn't want people knowing that but he is a teddy bear," Wilde said.
She says he's a really funny guy too! Of course her co-stars are known for their hilarity.
"Um I bit my cheeks a lot. Bit my cheeks and I stayed professional you know I didn't want to be the one to break but they're incredibly funny and I think you can probably catch me almost breaking in a few scenes," Wilde said.
Just looking at him makes you laugh. Jim Carrey, he's a big Austin fan!
"Gosh, it's been a wave of insanely talented people that have come from here over the last you know 20 years, it's been unbelievable," Carrey said.
"You know I hope to come here when there's not a big deal and there's not people following me around and stuff and sneak in and hear some music ya know," Carrey said.
He says he knows a lot of people here. Even his ex Renee Zellwegger! Hey, he brought it up! What if he runs into her?
"Yeah, Renee comes from here which is great you know, it's awesome! Probably not but it would be nice if I did...yeah we're friends...cough," Carrey said.
The Incredible Burt Wonderstone debuts in theaters next Friday.
