Austin firefighters are working to put out two separate fires in South Austin Friday morning. One of the fires is on Cherrydale Drive, south of William Cannon, near Manchaca. The other fire is on Thomas Springs Road, southwest of the "Y" in Oak Hill.
Fire crews are keeping the media away from the Thomas Springs Road fire. FOX 7's Tania Ortega is reporting live from the fire on Cherrydale.
