Austin Pets Alive will get to keep a badly injured dog found in Hutto earlier this year for now.
Austin Pets Alive named the dog Victory and FOX 7 reported on the dog last month.
The 4-year-old Bearded Collie was found January 9, wandering in a Hutto neighborhood. She was heavily matted and it looked like her nose had been cut off.
A man came forward saying the dog was his and took the Austin Pets Alive to court, but a judge gave Austin Pets Alive custody of Victory.
Victory is staying at a foster home and is under Austin Pets Alive's veterinary care and guidance.
