Students at Leander High School got to see firsthand on Wednesday the consequences of drunk driving.
The Shattered Dreams program staged a dramatization of drinking at a party followed by a car crash where mock medical treatments and arrests were made.
The goal was to show the dangers of drinking and driving before students take off for spring break.
