Austin Police have charged a man for murder after they say an argument over missing cell phones turned deadly.
According to court paperwork, the victim, 22-year-old Robert Manning and his friend went to the Garden Inn and Suites Hotel located at 2915 S. I-35 to hang out with some friends.
At one point during the evening Manning and his friend noticed their cell phones were missing.
Arthur Davis, 35, admitted to taking the phones and became aggressive. Davis got into a fight with Manning and 21-year-old Mark Ramirez, stabbing them both.
Ramirez and Manning were transported to a local hospital. Manning later died from his injuries.
Davis has been charged with murder, a first degree felony.
