Last week, contract painter Randy Meitzen told FOX 7 what he says happened to him as he was stepping off of a Capital Metro bus.

"They closed the door on my right leg. And I hit the pavement right here...and then they proceeded to take off," Meitzen told us last week.

Witnesses said they saw the same thing.

"I even tried to stop the bus, dude. I was like, 'Hey man, slow down! Something!" said witness Clayton McKinney.

But now, Capital Metro has released surveillance footage from the bus and what the cameras captured is a bit different.

In one angle, Meitzen is seen falling down before he even gets off of the bus.

He finally gets up and exits and his foot doesn't appear to be caught.

Then, the outside camera shows Meitzen falling down again, hitting the pavement pretty hard.

Meitzen said bystanders tried to get the bus-driver's attention.

"The other guy got off the bus and he was beating on the door saying 'Stop, stop! You're dragging this man," Meitzen told us last week.

But the cameras capture a man outside calmly speaking to the bus driver telling him that a man had just collapsed.

The bus driver even goes out to check on him.

Friday, FOX 7 showed the video to Meitzen.

He says he doesn't remember much about the whole thing and it was witnesses who told him he was dragged.

"I had the flu that day and you knock me to the ground and I'm trying to get off the bus and dive off two feet...maybe I lost my balance. I never said that the bus closed the door on my leg. I said that the bus driver did not stop at the proper spot, left me off in a precarious situation, threw me to the ground initially and then I hit my head," Meitzen said.

He says Capital Metro told him and his attorney they didn't have video at first. So he thinks the video is not what it appears to be.

"We all know 'Photoshop,' we know how to cut and paste, edit. I mean, there's movie stars out there that have never done a porno! And it looks like they did a porno because somebody cut, pasted and edited them in. I'm fully aware that this multi-million dollar organization can cut, paste and change the video," Meitzen said.

So now you've heard and seen both sides. You be the judge!

Meitzen tells FOX 7 his attorney has dropped the case.  But Meitzen says he plans to continue with the lawsuit...with or without an attorney.
