American Airlines cancels flights due to high winds

On Monday afternoon American Airlines canceled all its afternoon flights at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport due to high winds.

In total, seven arriving flights and seven departing flights scheduled to land and take off after 2:00 p.m. were canceled.

Wind gusts at ABIA were recorded as high as 41 miles per hour.

No airlines canceled flights on Monday.
