Brick wall falls off North Austin building

Monday morning a brick veneer wall fell off the second story wall of a building in North Austin.

The Austin Fired Department was called to the building in the 9400 block of Burnet road.

Businesses in the building were evacuated. No injuries were reported.

It was not immediately known why the bricks fell from the side of the building. Structural engineers were called out to conduct an investigation.
