Fatal shooting in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The NYPD is searching for the suspect who shot and killed a man in a Brooklyn apartment building Sunday afternoon.

Officers arrived at 204 Lott Avenue in Brownsville around 1:00 p.m. and found the 37-year-old victim unconscious and unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest.

According to the New York Post, the victim was arguing loudly with another man in a hallway when suddenly four shots were fired.

EMS took the victim to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police have made no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
