Former Travis County Assistant DA Mindy Montford will joined the FOX 7 News Edge at 5 to talk about the Nestande verdict, the enhancement of the charge and sentencing.
Nestande was found guilty of criminally negligent homicide for hitting and killing Courtney Griffin in 2011 with her car. She was also found not guilty of failure to stop and render aid.
Because the jury found that her car was a deadly weapon used to kill Griffin, the charge against Nestande was enhanced to a third degree felony
