State Representative Mark Strama has two big announcements. He will not seek another term in the Texas House and he is considering running for mayor.
Reps with Strama's office confirm he is considering running for mayor of Austin.
Strama was first elected to the house in 2004. This session, he's on the ways and means, international trade and intergovernmental affairs panels.
Representative Strama welcomes any feedback from people in the community and then, after this legislative session, he will make his decision to run for mayor.
