I-35 shut down following 18-wheeler accident

Monday night the northbound lanes of I-35 were shut down at Louis Henna Boulevard after an 18-wheeler accident.

According to police, the truck hit the median and separated from the trailer. The driver was ejected from the cab of the truck.

Paramedics performed CPR at the scene before transported the victim to the hospital.

The driver, a man in his 40's, is in serious-critical condition. He was not breathing on his own.

I-35 was reopened after approximately two hours.
