Let It Rip: Is race a factor for the jury in the Kilpatrick trial?

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

There was disorder outside the court Thursday when Bobby Ferguson's attorney Mike Rataj shoved Fox 2's M.L. Elrick.  What sparked it all?  You'll hear from both sides as we take a closer look at the issue of race in the Kilpatrick corruption trial.

Joining Huel Perkins and Charlie Langton on our panel are:

Mike Rataj, who has a reputation as a tough, smart defense attorney.  He served his country in the Marines and still plays hockey on the weekend.  His current mission is keep his client Bobby Ferguson out of prison.

M.L. Elrick, the Pulitzer Prize winning reporter who uncovered the sex scandal that first put Kwame Kilpatrick in trouble.  He now follows the current Kilpatrick corruption trial for Fox 2 every day.

And Steve Hood, a TV show host, consultant and Sunday school teacher who grew up with some of the key players in the Kilpatrick drama.
