A man is dead after being struck by an 18-wheeler when he fell from an overpass onto Interstate 35.
The incident happened at 5:10 p.m. near the intersection of Interstate 45 and the Highway 45 Toll Road, according to Round Rock Police.
Officers are questioning witnesses to determine what caused the man to fall. Police are withholding the man's identity pending notification of family.
Police say the man was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
Southbound Interstate 35 was closed for nearly four hours.
