A man has been arrested in the stabbing
death of an Austin man in San Marcos.
San Marcos Police arrested 20-year-old Brelyn
Javon Sorrells for the murder of 20-year-old Arthur Martinez.
According to Police Chief Howard Williams,
Sorrells attended a party at a home in the 700 block of Allen St. and became
involved in an altercation inside the residence. During the incident Martinez was stabbed. He
was transported by EMS to Central Texas Medical Center where he later died.
Sorrells has been charged with murder, a
first degree felony. Police say additional charges are anticipated.
