PHILADELPHIA -

Police are looking for the gunman who used a semi-automatic handgun to kill a man in North Philadelphia overnight.

The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. on the 1700 block of Lehigh Avenue.

Officers say a driver spotted the man lying in the street.

"Someone driving by saw a body laying in the intersection and called 911, and that's when the police and fire department paramedics arrived on the scene, that they realized this individual was shot multiple times … in the head, chest and upper torso," said Chief inspector Scott Small.

So far, no arrests or motive, but police say they did find some money at the scene.

Investigators are looking at surveillance video to identify the shooter.
