Fire breaks out a northeast apartment complex

The Austin Fire Department is working a 2-alarm fire in northeast Austin at an apartment complex.

Fire fighters are staging at the Promontory Point Apartment Complex at 2250 Northpointe Drive.

Crews are working to evacuate residents.

One firefighter has been injured. His condition is unknown at this time.
