Suspect Accused Of Hiding Stolen Guitar Down His Pants

CHERRY HILL, N.J. -

Police in Cherry Hill are searching for two suspects in a theft where a man slid a Les Paul Slim Neck guitar down his pants and stole it from a local store last month.

Investigators say a man and a woman worked together on two separate occasions when a saxophone was stolen from the store on December 19 and the guitar was taken on January 8.

The woman, according to police, distracted store employees while the man shoved the guitar down his pants. Police say a saxophone a similar situation occurred when the saxophone was taken from the store.

The suspects appear to be in their late 40s to early 50s. Police say the man spoke with a "heavy South Philadelphia" accent.

The pair was seen leaving in a black SUV police say was driving by a third party.
