U.S. lawmakers and President Obama are focusing on immigration reform this week in Washington. A bipartisan group of senators unveiled their proposals Monday.
President Obama addressed a group in Nevada this Tuesday afternoon, giving his thoughts.
"We have to deal with the 11 million individuals who are here illegally. We all agree that these men and women should have to earn their way to citizenship. But for comprehensive immigration reform to work, it has to be clear from the onset that there IS a pathway to citizenship," President Obama said.
Joining FOX 7 to talk about this is Republican strategist Ted Delisi, a former consultant to Senator John Cornyn, Rick Perry and Congressman McCaul.
