A member of the Texas Organizing Project was arrested at the Capital Tuesday.
Governor Perry was interrupted by an outburst from several people of the organization in the house chamber balcony. They are upset that the governor continues to refuse to expand the Medicaid program.
Troopers quickly ushered the group out of the chamber where they continued to shout.
One of the protesters, 59-year-old James Lennard Caldwell of Houston was handcuffed and escorted out of the Capitol by a State Trooper.
Caldwell was charged with disrupting a meeting or procession, a Class B misdemeanor.
