CAVE CREEK, Ariz. -
A good Samaritan fractured his leg on Saturday after jumping over a wall to help the driver of a crashed car.
Police say a car was driving near the Loop 101 and Cave Creek Road when the driver swerved to avoid a speeding car and went through the fence between the highway and the access road and landed in a ravine.
The driver was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Officers say a man saw the crash and tried to jump the railing of his apartment's balcony two stories up.
The man tried to jump the wall but ended up fracturing his leg during the fall and was in a hospital most of Saturday night.
