A construction worker was injured while working on the Waller Creek Tunnel Project.
A five-man crew was working in the northern end of the tunnel under 12th Street and Red River, installing a steel beam when it fell.
The beam struck a 23-year-old man in the head. The other four men were able to get out of the way.
The man was transported to UMC Brackenridge.
The contractor, S.J. Lewis is conducting an investigation.
