Travis County Sheriff's Office has charged a man after they say he burglarized a church in Leander.
Deputies say 48-year-old Christopher Sledge broke into the Round Mountain Baptist Church and stole a pair of speakers and a computer.
Immediately after deputies took the report, they responded to a family disturbance call in the 14000 block of Gillum Creek, just a short distance from the church.
When deputies arrived, they noticed a computer sitting behind the van and a set of speakers inside the vehicle. Deputies were given permission to search the van by Sledge's wife.
Deputies say they took the speakers back to the church to compare the cut wire, which matched the wire lettering.
Sledge has been charged with burglary of a building.
