Police seek suspects in connection with McDonald’s armed robbery

Austin Police are searching for two suspects in connection with the robbery of a south Austin McDonald's.

Police say two suspects entered the McDonald's located on West Slaughter Lane and robbed the business at gunpoint.

Police describe the suspects as Hispanic males. The suspect who displayed a semi-automatic gun is described as 6'1" in height, 190 pounds, with a thin mustache. He was last seen wearing a yellow hard hat, a brown jacket over a black sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as thin and young. He was last seen wearing a black jacket blue jeans and an orange and white cap with a longhorn's emblem on the front.

Police believe the suspects fled the scene in a red Mercury Sable.

Police are also looking for two persons of interest. They say two men were seen at a similar business on a previous day asking about store operations.
