Austin police say a man trying to do tricks on his motorcycle, died instead.
Police were called to the scene in North Austin, at Brandywine and Lamplight Village Avenue just after five this afternoon.
There they found a man down in the corner of the street.
Police say he was Southbound on Lamplight Village, headed toward Parmer, with another motorcyclist, when the crash happened.
The driver and the passenger on the other motorcycle were not injured.
Police say the man who was killed was wearing a helmet.
His identity has not yet been released.
