A 15-year-old boy was pistol whipped and robbed during a home invasion at a West Philadelphia apartment complex.
Police say the victim answered his door, on the 200 block of S. 48th Street, around 3:30pm, to a male asking a question regarding the next door neighbor. The victim had no information, and started to shut the door, which was pushed open by the two armed offenders.
The offenders ransacked the apartment, asking where the victim's mother kept the money. The victim was hit in the back of the head with the pistol and tied up with telephone cords and belts.
The offenders got away with $2,000 and jewelry.
Police describe the suspects as:
Offender 1 – black male, 6', medium build, dark hat, with a silver revolver
Offender 2 – black male, 6', medium build, tan jacket, clean shaven, with a black handgun
Anyone with information is asked to contact Philadelphia Police.
