A Deacon at a Pentecostal Church in Trenton has been arrested and charged with rape and other related charges.
34 year-old Humberto Cervantes, of Coatsville, was the subject of an investigation when, in December of 2012, the victim told authorities that she was raped at a Bensalem Motel in 2011. She was 13 years-old at the time.
Cervantes was a Deacon at a Pentecostal Church in Trenton NJ when be befriended the victim. He did leave the Church after the incident occurred and relocated to a Pentecostal Church on Ontario Street in Philadelphia.
Cervantes was arraigned and sent to prison in lieu of $1 million bail.
