A man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed another man in the 2900 block of Yuma Drive on Monday.
Police say when they arrived, a 27-year-old man was being transported from the area to an emergency room by his friends.
Witnesses told police the suspect, 29-year-old Jamin Easton, fled the area after he had an altercation with the victim.
Officers found the suspect's vehicle in the 1800 block of Chip Drive and figured out Easton was inside a home there.
Police say they made several attempts to contact Easton, but there was no answer.
Eventually, the Lake Havasu City Police Department S.W.A.T. team forced their way into the home.
Easton was found in some bushes near the home and was taken into custody, according to officers.
The victim had surgery for injuries to his spleen, kidney, and a main artery. Hospital staff say he's expected to make a full recovery.
Easton was charged with aggravated assault and was transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff's Office after receiving a $100,000 bond at his initial court appearance.
