FOX 29 Crew Attacked While Covering Story

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

A FOX 29 reporter and photographer were attacked outside a Philadelphia gentlemen's club Tuesday night while covering a story about an alleged sexual assault at the Four Seasons in Philadelphia.

Police tell us the alleged victim in that incident was picked up at Delilah's -- that's why our crew was there.

Our reporter, Chris O'Connell and cameraman Dave Edwards, were shooting on the sidewalk outside the club when a man wearing a Delilah's T-shirt came up and told them to leave.

Tuesday night, the man was under arrest, facing charges of simple assault and vandalism.

Our cameraman, Dave Edwards was taken to the hospital and is doing OK.

Our reporter, Chris O'Connell is also OK.

We contacted Delilah's on Tuesday night. They told us no comment.
