An Austin man has been charged with arson after authorities say he set fire to two homes in the same neighborhood.
On Dec. 31, Austin Fire Department responded to a fire in the 7200 block of Thannas Way. Just minutes later they responded to a second fire located only 400 yards away at a home on Blue Meadow Drive.
Neighbors informed firefighters that a white truck with the word "Doors" had been parked at the home located on Blue Meadow Dr. before the fire was discovered. Firefighters saw an ABC Doors work truck leaving the scene of the fire. The firefighter followed the truck until the driver ran two stop signs and got away.
During the investigation, authorities learned that Michael Brandon Moseley was driving his employer's truck at the time of the fires.
Moseley was charged with two counts of arson.
