New Braunfels Police have charged a man in connection with the murder of a 27-year-old woman.
According to police, on Jan. 1, Melissa Eason was found dead inside a home located in the 200 block of E. Merriweather Street.
An autopsy revealed Eason's cause of death was by strangulation, which changed the classification of the case to a murder investigation.
An arrest warrant was obtained for Eason's boyfriend, 27-year-old Nathaniel "Nate" Fox, charging him with murder.
Fox was arrested Friday night after he turned himself in to police.
