Hays County officials are investigating a shooting at a Wimberley residence.
Hays County Sheriff's Office responded to the 300 block of Rader Ranch Road in Wimberley in reference to a shooting.
Deputies say a 40-year-old man shot in the abdomen. He was airlifted to an Austin hospital and is undergoing surgery. His condition is unknown.
Deputies say the shooter barricaded himself inside the residence.
Wimberley High School was put on lockdown due to the home's close proximity.
Deputies were able to get the 19-year-old male suspect to give up and he is now in custody..
