NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Police are searching for two, young robbers who broke into at least two homes in Wayne, New Jersey last month.

The pair, a young male and female, are seen in security video posted to YouTube knocking on a door to a house near Oxbow Place. The male tries to open the door before someone answers.

Police say the suspect asked permission to retrieve a football from the yard, but did not break in.

On Dec. 3 and Dec. 24 the pair broke into at least two houses through unlocked rear windows, said police. Jewelry was stolen in both incidents.

Wayne Police are asking anyone who recognizes the pair to contact the Detective Bureau at 973-633-3530.
