Reid Firing Draws Mixed Reactions From Eagles Fans

PHILADELPHIA -

It's a move thousands of fans called for months ago, but now that Andy Reid is officially out as coach of the Eagles, the news is receiving mixed reviews from some of the Eagle's faithful.

Some fans tell FOX 29's Stephanie Salvatore that something major had to be done in order to turn things around.

While many felt it was the right move to get rid of Reid, others wondered how he could possibly be replaced.

"Fourteen years, nine playoff appearances, five championship games, who ya gonna' put in his place?" one fan said.

During a Monday press conference, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Lurie said the team would begin to search for Reid's replacement immediately.
