Celebrating Christmas Eve Mass in New York

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Standing room only was an understatement for the earlier Children's Christmas Eve Mass at Saint Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan. For many people, it was impossible to get in. To actually get a seat you had to arrive very early.

Downtown at Trinity Church, the kids really put the children in children's Mass when reenacting the Nativity scene.

Timothy Cardinal Dolan was scheduled to offer midnight Mass, open by ticket only, at Saint Patrick's.

The cardinal spoke earlier Monday at the Ronald McDonald House.
