DETROIT (WJBK) -- You may remember a young man who was shot for his sneakers back in August.  The family of Kavon Coleman has gone through a lot, but now a huge gift for the whole family- -a house full of furniture.

Coleman was shot and the wounds are far from healed.  In fact, he can't walk.  He and his mother both are out of work and the medical bills are piling up.  And, they need furniture.

A few people called and offered to help but those businesses backed out and they never got the help they needed.  On top of the shooting and medical bills, their house was stripped and they could not afford to fix it up.

Now Robinson Furniture is chipping in a large donation which will be delivered to Kavon and his mother on Monday.  The donation is being made just in time for Christmas and is a result of Scott Bradley of Robinson seeing a story about the teen on Fox 2.
