Thieves hit a southwest Austin neighborhood and it was caught on camera. Two people appear to be stealing Christmas presents off front porches, soon after a delivery truck drops them off.
"The presents were irreplaceable," said Jason Wicker,
Wicker says now Christmas won't be the same for his family.
"I was pretty pissed to be honest," Wicker said.
Wicker and his wife were running errands Friday afternoon when they received a large shipment of holiday gifts on their front porch in southwest Austin.
"I had a bunch of packages come in from Amazon as we normally do during this time of season," Wicker said.
When wicker came home he noticed only one of the packages that were supposed to be delivered were there. So he checked his surveillance system and found two people walking off with his stuff.
"At about 4:09 there was a lady, younger blonde woman came in, carrying a clipboard, walked up to the front door saw the packages and stuck her to look through the window. There were no cars here. She took 3 of the packages and dropped one. (She) ran off and then about 30-45 seconds later another guy came in, took another package and then they left," said Wicker.
Wicker wants to warn his neighbors, because he says he's not the only victim to these holiday grinches.
"I talked to one of my neighbors down the street. He also has a package that was supposed to be delivered by amazon on Friday that went missing," he said.
As for the thieves, Wicker said the items they stole were worth less than $100.
"I feel sorry for those folks. I mean they took a mine craft t-shirt, a book on how to survive mine craft and a foot spa. So good luck for them."
